It was a decadent tart, even two days later. I like the flavour comes from the cranberry marmalade. You can prepare a cranberry coulis as homemade or buy a fine brand of marmalade. I used store bought one. I know I am being lazy nowadays. But it is not my fault since it isn’t the season:) let’s move to the recipe now.
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 50g soft butter
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A dash salt
- all-purpose flour approx (3-3,5 cups)
- ½ cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- ¾ cup cranberry marmalade
Powdered sugar for decoration
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ingredients of dough and knead it well. Let rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
Lightly grease a 20 cm baking dish. Divide the dough into 2 pieces. We’ll use 1/3 for top and 2/ 3 for bottom. You can either roll the dough for bottom or place the dough in baking dish by pressing with fingers.
Pour the marmalade evenly and spread equally on the surface of the tart. Then spread the chopped walnuts on.
For top decoration of tart, you could either grate the remaining dough on tart or make patterns like all pies have. I grated 1/3 amount of the dough on top.
Bake in 350 F preheated oven until lightly browned. When it is completely cool, slice it up and sift the powdered sugar evenly on top.
Gerçekten hoş bir ikram oldu. İnanmayacaksınız ama kalmış hali bile çok lezzetli olan bir turta hatta; özellikle ertesi güne kalan halini tavsiye ederim.
