Merhaba, herkese günaydın,

Geçen hafta bahsettiğim arkadaş görüşmelerimize bir yenisini ekleyip tekrar bir araya geldik . Bu kez Ülfet hocadaydık. Maharetli arkadaşımız fotoğraflarda da göreceğiniz üzere epeyce uğraşmış. Ellerine sağlık Ülfetcim tekrar teşekkür ederiz bu güzel sofra için. Soframızdakiler;

Last week, I told about what we did together with my colleagues at my place. Yesterday we were together at Ulfet’s house to drink tea at noon. She prepared so much luscious traditional food for us. We had

  • green beans in olive oil
  • chicken salad with yogurt
  • Turkish pastry with feta cheese
  • two kinds of cookies
  • sultan’s dessert with syrup
  • semolina milk dessert
  • tiny bulgur balls with tomato garlic sauce
  • couscous salad
  • stuffed dried baby eggplant, zucchini and red bell peppers.

everything was wonderful so it was a crowd pleasing invitation. Thanks again dear Ulfet!

Sofrada ilk bitenler tavuklu salata ve fellah köfteydi malum. Bu nedenle tavuklu salatayı sizlerle paylaşmak istiyorum. Haşlanmış tavuk göğsü didiklenir, içine göz kararı garnitür karışımı, avuç dolusu irice kırılmış ceviz, doğranmış 4 adet kornişon turşu,  havuç rendesi ve dere otu eklenir. Yoğurt ve bir (veya damak tadına göre birkaç kaşık ) mayanoz karıştırılıp salataya ilave edilir. Tamamen karıştırıldıktan sonra servis tabağına alınır.

Chicken salad and tiny bulgur balls were popular and the first consumed by the crowd. Everybody loved them. They were delicious. I strongly suggest those two that I will share the chicken salad recipe below. Tiny bulgur balls which I have already the recipe on blog.  you can click here to reach.

Chicken salad

Boil and pull the chicken breast and put it in a medium mixing bowl.  Drain canned pea, potato and carrot mixture and add 5 tbsp of it.  Add a few diced dill pickles and a handful coarsely chopped walnuts. Whisk 1 cup of yogurt and 1 tbsp mayo and stir in chicken. add chopped fresh dill (just a few springs) and grated 1 medium carrot. Mix them evenly and place in a platter.
