  • 1 bardak süt
  • 1 yumurta
  • ½ su bardağı sıvıyağ

Hazırlanışı

Egg rolleri tek tek kaynar suda 1 er dakika haşlayın. Çıkardığınız egg roll hamurlarını buzlu suya daldırıp çıkarın.

iki tanesi yan yana gelecek şekilde 20 cm x 28 cm ebatindaki yaglanmis borcama yerleştirin. Sıvı harcı çırpıp fırça yardımıyla her kata yaklaşık 2 kaşık sürün.

Egg rollerin 15 ini alta 10 unu üste gelecek şekilde paylaştırın. Alt kat 15 olunca hazırladığınız iç harcı yayın. Kalan 10 egg roll ede aynı işlemi uygulayın.

Dilimleyip en üste sıvıyağ, yumurta sarısını çırpıp sürün. Parmesan peynir serpip 170-180 C derece ӧnceden ısınmış fırında 40 dakika kadar pişirin.

Easy water pastry (Su Boregi)

Originally, This dish is a very hard pastry and takes so much time to prepare. In Turkey, people knead and roll the dough by themselves normally. We dont have any substitude prepared pastry sheets like egg roll wraps to be able to make this difficult dish easy.

So if someone want to eat “water pastry” either they knead, roll and boil those pastry sheets at home and bake it, or they can buy completely cooked and cut into squares version from pastry shops in Turkey.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package egg roll wraps

For filling

  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • ½ bunch flat-leaf parsley chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • For top
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3-4 tbsp parmesan cheese

Liquid mixture

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup oil

Preparation:

To prepare cheese filling; combine feta cheese, chopped parsley, oil and egg in a bowl and set aside. To make liquid mixture, blend oil, milk and egg in a small bowl and set that aside too.

Boil egg roll wraps one at a time in hot, boiling water for a minute. Soak them into cold water with ice cubes.

Get them and place two egg roll wraps side by side for each layer on a greased 8 x 11 inch baking dish. Brush them with liquid (oil, egg and milk) mixture about 2 tbsp for each layer.

Separate 25 egg rolls as 15 for bottom and 10 for top. When you place 15 egg rolls to the bottom, spread cheese filling.

Repeat the remaining egg roll wraps to the top of cheese filling. Place 2 egg rolls side by side and brush them with milk mixture.

When you finish egg roll wraps, cut that into medium squares. Stir 1 egg yolk, 2 tbsp oil and brush top of egg rolls.

Spread some parmesan cheese and bake that in 350 F pre-heated oven for about 40 minutes.
