Hazırlanışı

Pirinçleri 1 bardak su ile pişirin. Başka bir tencerede orta ateşte 5 bardak sütü kaynamaya bırakın. Pirinçler uzayıp yumuşayınca süt tenceresine aktarin bir taşım da sütle birlikte kaynatın. Ayırdığınız yarım bardak süte nişasta ekleyip iyice karıştırın ve kaynayan süte yavasca ekleyip hızlıca karıştırın sekeri ve vanilyayı da ekleyip kıvamı yoğunlaşıncaya dekkaynatın. Muhallebi kıvamına geldiğinde ocagı kapatıp kaseler paylaştırın

ingredients:

 

5 and 1/2 cups whole milk
3 tbsp corn strach
1/2 cup rice
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
a pinch of salt
1 and 1/2 cups water

 

for decoration:

 

grated coconut
walnut or any nut you like
ground cinnamon
chopped dried fruit

 

 

preparation:

 

Pour 5 cups milk in a deep pan and put it on a medium heat to boil. Meanwhile, wash the rice and drain it well, then put rice in asmall pan and pour 1 and 1/2 cup water in it.
Let rice simmer and soak the water. After rice cooked and absorbe the water evenly, turn the heat off and put rice in milk. Let them simmer for a while approximately for 10 minutes or so.

 

 

Pour 1 cup granulated sugar in milk mixture. Put 3 tbsp corn starch in 1/2 cup milk and blend it well till corn starch dissolve in the milk and pour it in milk as well. Sprinkle ground cinnamon, ground clove and salt and mix them evenly.
When milk is getting thicker, turn the heat off and pour rice pudding in bowls with a scoop and let them cool down to room temparature before refrigrate them and decorate each bowl with toppings (chopped nuts or dried fruits), just before you serve them.
