Salty crunchy pastries (Çatal)

Ingredients:

½ stick margarine
1/3 cup oil
3 tbsp plain yogurt
4 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
½ tsp baking powder
1 egg white
3 cups all-purpose flour

For top of them:

1 egg yolks for egg wash
2-3 tbsp black sesame seeds

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl except egg yolk and sesame seeds.

Get some piece of dough and make strips from it. Give it a shape like S sound.

Close and stick together the edges of snake shape dough strips.

Brush top of them with egg wash and sprinkle some sesame seeds. When you are done with all dough, place them onto a greased baking sheet and Bake (350 F) pre-heated oven for 20 minutes.
