Small shell pasta with sautéd veggie sauce

Ingredients:

2 cups small shell pasta
1 medium onion coarsely chopped
5 big mushrooms cut in wedges
4 medium tomatoes diced
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt, pepper

Preparation:

1. Cook pasta according to instructions on package.

2. Meanwhile, to sauté veggies, put olive oil in a medium sauce pan. Add onion and stir for 5 minutes. Add diced tomatoes,let it simmer for a few minutes.

3. Finally add mushrooms in and saute for a few minutes more. Sprinkle some salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

4. Turn the heat off and pour veggie sauce over shell pasta that you already drained and placed on a platter.
