20 sheets of Phyllo dough
1 cup shredded mozzarella

Liquid mixture

1/3 cup whole milk
1 egg yolk
¼ cup oil


Thaw Phyllo dough at least a few hours before starting borek.

To prepare milk mixture, put all liquid mixture ingredients in a bowl and blend them well.
Take one sheet of pastry dough, grease the skillet and start to put sheets one by one on lightly gresed skillet.
Put each one of sheet to different directions of 8 or 9 inch pan and brush it with liquid mixture. Repeat the process until you finish all 15 pastry sheets.
Spread shredded mozzarella on it and turn the edges of pastry sheets from down to upside and fold them on cheese. Place left 5 pastry sheets one by one by brushing with liquid mixture.
Cook it on medium heat on the stove (not in the oven) for about 10 to 15 minutes or until both sides golden brown, you need to turn it once with a spatula upside down to be able to cook (both side ) the other side as well.
After you make sure it is nice and golden brown, turn the heat off and cut it into 8 pieces like pizza. Serve warm.
